Walking Dead’ on DISH Network

DISH Network introduces loads of pilot series to keep the happy consumers glued to their television screens for the entire year. One such pilot series is ‘Walking Dead’ to be premiered in October on AMC Channel.

AMC will be featuring the first 6 episodes of ‘Walking Dead’ Season 1, an upcoming original series. The pilot will be filmed in Atlanta next week.

The series is an adaptation of a novel by Robert Kirkman. The series narrates about an epidemic that strikes the entire world and causes the rise of the dead to eat the living for their survival. The series that is to be featured on DISH HD TV is not only shot in Atlanta but it is set in Atlanta as well.

There is a sudden twist in the story with the arrival of the protagonist Glenn at post-apocalyptic Atlanta. When Glenn arrives, he finds that the entire city seems to be lifeless, not a single soul to be found. He tries to find the reason behind this strange thing. Soon he finds himself surrounded by the dead about to pounce on him. He engages himself into a tense fight to save his own life.

Steven Yeun will be playing the role of Glenn. Yeun has recently starred in ‘Carpe Millennium’ and will also be appearing in ‘The Kari Files’ and ‘My Name Is Jerry’.

The viewers will enjoy watching this exciting new series on their DISH TV in HD mode.

One of the main reasons I purchased a satellite dish
was for the exclusive content. This is a prime example. "The Walking Dead" is one of my favorite shows.
